This documentary style video has interviews with founders Jok & Ajang recounting their experience fleeing the civil war in Southern Sudan, as well as details and footage about the founding of HELPSudan and the start of Thian Wei school outside Bor Town.
On Thursday, January 22, 2009, HELPSudan was featured on the Worldview talk show on Chicago Public Radio. Host Jerome McDonnell interviewed Founder Jok Kuol Wel and Board Member Lauren Swihart, and encouraged listeners to come out to our 3rd Annual Fundraiser, the Birthday Party for the Lost Boys, on January 24, 2009.
